Megacross / Fox Valley Off Road Training Camp.

July 5th  10am - 4pm

Here are the particulars to the day.  Riding park is open for open riding @9AM, riders wishing to take part in these classes need to let us know by email ahead of time so we can get a count on how many for each type above.  Riders will be able to go to any of these classes they don't have to stay with just one class.  Please contact me via email wardy @mtco.com (take out the red space)

Garry Borelli (Borelli Suspension) will be on hand to help with suspension and bike setup questions.  He will be here the entire day to help with the camp.

Fees:

Normal Riding Fees apply  click.

An additional 25.00 per rider for the classes. Riders can participate in any classes, mix of them all what ever they wish. Park is also open for open riding so can do that as well. If you are a FVOR Year member, the cost to you is only 25.00 for any or all classes per rider. We may need to limit class sizes, so please email us to let us know who wants to participate.. Sign up early.

10am-11am sit down discussion and processes wear your riding gear and bring your bike to office area.   Garry Borelli does basic set up Q& A here as well.

11am  Riders will go with the trainers to start to work on specifics this will be til 1pm.

 Lunch 1pm-1:30pm  Hotdogs and BBQ, soft drinks.  Discuss what already has been gone over.

1:30-4pm work in individual groups.  Riders can work in any groups they like and can do multiple types.

Open ride the rest of the day til 5pm!

 

 

 

Mx & Sx

 training by:Tommy Hofmaster& Burton Lavens.

 

 

Tommy and Burton will focus on but not limited too Cornering, Whoops, Braking and Acceleration points, body positioning along with line choices.  
Off Road & Ex

 Training by: Ryan Moss & Travis Ward

 

Ryan and Travis will focus on Crossing logs, big and small., off cambers, tree roots,  climbing hills, going down hills,  rock creek, and ex sections, dead engine starting. Passing in the woods. (Please note Travis has worked with Ryan since he was on 85cc machines and now is in the AA class.)

Kids and Beginners

 by: Gerhard Ward and Garrett Ward.

Garrett and I will focus on beginner kids.  Preferably 65cc and 85cc riders who are just starting out. 50cc riders are also welcome.  We will focus on the basics, and work specifically with riders own deficiencies. Garrett will help me demonstrate correct way to do different things. Mainly clutch use, braking, riding position, and balance. We will work on the kids track and timber behind the office.
