switches must work, tethers are recommended.
Side by Side Drag Rules
- Drivers have 2 minutes, from the time they are
called, to report to the starting line.
- Before reporting to the line, drivers must be
ready to run. This means boots buckled, helmet buckled, eye protection on,
and tether attached to body. Any rider reporting to the line without these
items ready will be disqualified from that race.
- No burnouts will be allowed in the staging
areas or between the staging area and the starting line.
- Jumping the starting line will cause a loss
for that race.
- Crossing any lane lines will cause a loss for
that race.
- Speeds in the return lane will be kept low. NO
stunt riding (i.e. wheelies) will be allowed in the return lane. Riders CAN
and WILL be disqualified for inappropriate riding in the return lane.
- After finishing a race, riders will go
immediately to the return lane.
- All riders must attend the Rider's Meeting
before races can begin.
- Once a rider enters the staging lanes, there
is no exiting.
- Riding is allowed ONLY between pits and drag
strip. NO PIT RIDING!
- Referee's decision is final.
- D.O.T. approved helmet and eye protection
required.
- Over the ankle leather boots required.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied
by parent or have NOTARIZED guardian for the day note to participate.
- No one under the age of 16 will be allowed to
compete on ATV's and motorcycles over 400cc.
- Speed limit is 5mph in any area other than the
race track.
- No alcohol is permitted.
- 4x4 ATVs can run 2x4 classes only in 2x4.
- Class jumping is allowed as long as you are
undersized, not oversized.
- Helmets must be worn at all times when riding
ATV.
- Only 2 persons per ATV or motorcycle will be
allowed in the drag area; one rider and one helper (must have wristbands).
Helper is for pre-staging rider, if needed.
- No chains, studs, paddles or spikes allowed
in/on tires.
